Te Tūranga - The Role

We are seeking a skilled Intermediate Technical Author to join our dynamic team at Tait Communications. In this role, you will create, develop, and maintain high-value post-sale and client-facing publications. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical documents that enhance the user experience and reinforce the competitiveness of our brand.

The duties of the role will include :

• Developing, reviewing, and publishing technical publications, ensuring they meet the needs of our users and clients.
• Assisting in the creation of standardised documentation plans for projects.
• Contributing content during development phases and ensuring completion within assigned timeframes .
• Managing version histories and electronic change orders for documentation.
• Actively improving technical authoring standards, processes, and tools while sharing knowledge with the team.

To be successful in this role, you will have a relevant tertiary qualification and / or demonstrated experience in technical writing.
