Management Accountant

In this role, you'll help shape the financial backbone of our operations, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and efficiency across our essential services.

Reporting to the Finance Team Lead, you'll be part of a team that values integrity, innovation and continuous improvement.This is a 15 month contract.What You'll DoLead cost control systems and financial monitoring processesDeliver timely and accurate reporting, including weekly and month-end reportsOversee contract management and RCTI processesRepresent finance in client meetings and contribute to strategic discussionsDrive improvements in financial workflows and systemsWhat You'll BringDegree in Accounting, Finance and / or Business Finance / Management.CA ANZ / CPA membership.Proven experience in financial management and accounting with a strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, EOM reporting, and data analysis.Sound understanding of relevant accounting standards / guidelines, and applicable legislation.Developed stakeholder management skills and the proven ability to develop, maintain and influence business relationshipsMore than anything, you'll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.Why Downer?
