Test Engineering Assistant

ResponsibilitiesConduct 5S activity and ensure compliancesMaintain good storage of tools / material and WIPDocumentation : familiar with MS Office, keeping records and updating tracker / log / WhatsApp to keep engineers and related partners well informedBasic knowledge of server hardware, Unix terminal access and ability to handle failure analysis (FA)Support EMR test, monitor test status closely and trigger related parties for necessary actionsHandle re-configurations in accordance to customer's specification and perform software loadingAble to identify various error codes for individual failed server given by the diagnostic program and rework failed units per training and / or direction from engineers and update the statusAssist engineers for pilot run orders and resolve product related issuesDaily updates of the orders on the line and keep the line well maintained and organized.

Generate daily, weekly and monthly reportsProvide feedback to production for WMS issues and work on FID / WMS Kaizen & CR projectsRaise & update Tech Direct tickets / email triggers within agreed timeSupport audit, comply with company rules & regulationsOther ad-hoc duties as assigned in accordance with the business needsRequirementsEngineering or relevant disciplineKnowledge of electrical, electromechanical and pneumatic systems and principles of operationStrong knowledge of the setup, operation, and maintenance of specific equipment sets used in manufacturing processesStrong knowledge of mechanical assembly and fabrication proceduresStrong knowledge of electronic circuitry and testing and debugging proceduresKnowledge of computer programming and ability to use applications specific to this position (such as C++)Ability to read and interpret product specifications, schematics and mechanical drawingsAbility to use hand and power tools required for test assemblyKnowledge of personal computers and Windows applicationsExcellent knowledge of quality standardsAbility to effectively communicate with a variety of internal customersWorking Days / HoursMonday to Friday 7am – 3pmInterested candidates, please furnish us with your most updated resume either in MS Words or PDF Format preferably with the following information by clicking "APPLY NOW"Current / last drawn and expected remuneration packageReasons for leaving for your last 3 employmentsCelestica is an equal opportunity employer.
