Contracts Administrator

We are looking for a Contracts Administrator to join our Mercy team.TheContracts Administrator role is responsible for ensuringthe operational and administrative functions of fixed fee contracts (such as ACC) are carried out effectively, efficiently and within required timeframes.This is a permanent, 0.8FTE (32 hours per week) position to be worked on Monday - Friday.Specific Duties IncludeAdministering and coordinating the processing offixed-fee Surgical ContractsAdministering and coordinating the processing of fixed-fee Clinical Services ContractsSupport robust debt managementSupport quality performance processesProviding effective cover for other members of the contracts teamDesired Skills and ExperienceSkills and ExperienceThe successful candidate will bring excellent organisational and communication skills.

You will also need to demonstrate the following : Proven experience in office administration, including accounts receivable and payable functions.Strong ability to manage variable workloads, set priorities effectively, and seek guidance when required.Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), web-based platforms, and proprietary accounting software.Strong time management and organisational skills.Works collaboratively within a team and fosters positive working relationshipsUnderstanding of ACC processes, including surgical codes, billing and procedural requirements for elective surgery and clinical service providers is desirable.To be eligible for employment at Mercy Hospital Dunedin, applicants will be required to provide vaccination history.Why Mercy Hospital?
