Help make a positive impact on our community while enjoying a career full of opportunities and rewarding experiences.About the role | Ko te mahi neiThe role of Manager Marketing & Identity is a key part of the Communications and Engagement Leadership team, and takes responsibility for : Leading the development of the Council's brand direction, creative and strategic marketing activity across a range of channels.Overseeing the development and implementation of strategic and operational marketing plans that align with the Council's strategic priorities.Championing the Council tone of voice / identity throughout the organisation.Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to deliver an account-based marketing function.Leading our talented team of Marketing Assistants, Advisors and Graphic Designers.About you | Ko Koe TeneiOur Ideal Applicant WillHave at least 10 years marketing experience.Have proven leadership skills within the marketing sector.Be an excellent communicator with the ability to build strong relationships.Have experience in brand strategy development and implementation, ideally within a large, complex organisation.Be a team player and a strong advocate for community engagement.What's in it for you?

• full-time, permanentLocation - This position is primarily based at Te Hononga Civic Offices, 53 Hereford StreetSalary - The salary band for this position goes from $126,230 to $140,255 per annum based on a 40 hour week.

Starting salaries will be based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, and relativities both, within the immediate team and in the broader organisation for the same or similar roles.Applications will be reviewed as they are received, and interviews may take place prior to the close date.
