About the Role
Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to drive integrated service planning and delivery across radiology services, ensuring equitable, high-quality, and whanau-centred care for all in the Northern Region.
We are recruiting for a Regional Delivery Lead to work with our clinicians, clinical directors and managers across radiology services to improve how we work to enable more patients to receive high quality, timely care.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of radiology services across a diverse region, with flexibility in location and potential travel required across Northern Health New Zealand sites.
As the Radiology Regional Delivery Lead, you will :
Lead the delivery of the regional workplan, collaborating with national, regional, and district leaders and cliniciansImprove access to radiology services, enabling faster patient journeys and better system performanceDesign and implement networked ways of working, optimising regional capacity and service deliveryDrive operational excellence, change management, and performance uplift across the regionChampion equity, Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles, and support Maori and Pacific health outcomesBuild and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including clinical leads, managers, and national programme teamsClick here to view the position description and key responsibility areas.
About the Team / Service / Location
Reporting to the Group Director of Operations, Te Tai Tokerau Northland, who is the regional SRO for radiology, you will be part of the regional support team, working alongside the Regional Radiology Clinical Lead and engaging with district and national stakeholders.
This is a leading by influence role to ensure positive outcomes and successful delivery of the regional workplan.

About you
The Radiology Regional Delivery Lead will need to have excellent relationship development and management skills, and an ability to maximise the quality and contributions of individuals and teams to achieve the organisations vision, purpose and goals.
You will be skilled at leading operational delivery, service planning, and change management.
To succeed in this role, you will bring :
Relevant graduate and postgraduate qualificationsOperational / service management experience in a large, dispersed environmentsProven experience in public sector and ideally health sector rolesStrong business acumen and a systems approach to healthcare deliveryStrong understanding of data and ability to use data to support your decision making and adviceDemonstrated ability to lead change through influencing others, manage complexity, and deliver performance improvement.Understanding of the significance of and obligations under Te Tiriti o Waitangi and a commitment to equityAn ability to translate strategy and concepts into achievable implementation and operational plans with an understanding on how changes might impact on future models of careWorking at Health New Zealand
