About the Role
The primary function of this position is to participate in and maintain an efficient, high quality Ultrasound Services for Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau :
Perform appropriately requested examinations, producing quality images in accordance with good professional practice and the relevant protocols.Ensure that all statistical information is entered into the Radiology information system in an accurate and timely manner.Assist with supervision, support and education to other sonographers including students within the service.Click here to view the position description.

As a Sonographer in our Radiology Department, you will need to have :
A recognised / accredited academic qualificationNZ Registered Medical Radiation Technologist in UltrasoundCurrent Annual Practising CertificateAbility to work independently and cooperatively in a multidisciplinary team.Recent ultrasound experience within a radiology serviceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsWorking at Health New Zealand
