THE ROLE :
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and driven Territory Manager to manage a key territory across the South Auckland to Palmerston North.
In this field-based role, you will partner closely with healthcare professionals including surgeons, nurses, operating theatre staff, and other hospital stakeholders, to provide product expertise, training, and commercial support.
You’ll play a key role in driving sales performance, expanding market share, and ensuring customers have access to high-quality solutions that improve patient outcomes.
As a Territory Manager , you will :
- Develop and execute territory plans to achieve sales targets and drive long-term business growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities.
- Convert new business opportunities within your assigned region.
- Work with the wider team to deliver training, research, and engagement initiatives for customers.
- Provide clinical and technical product support during procedures, in-services, and training sessions.
- Stay informed on new technologies, market trends, and competitor activity.
- Represent the company at conferences, meetings, and industry events to showcase products and services.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, territory reports, and business updates for management.
- Drive market development for existing and new products in line with divisional strategies.
ABOUT YOU :
- Proven experience in medical device or healthcare sales, preferably in hospital or procedural environments, with
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills, with the ability to engage, educate, and support clinical audiences.
- Results-driven, strategic, and proactive, able to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
- Excellent communication, presentation, organisational, and time management skills.
- Tertiary qualification in Science, Business, Nursing, or a related discipline is preferred
- Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the territory as required.
