Overview
Community Support Worker - Permanent Reliever - Auckland
Location : Orewa, North Auckland. 32 hours per week. $23.50 - $29.10 per hour. Spectrum Care provides support for adults with intellectual and / or physical disabilities to live great lives.
Work with Crompton Place where you will be caring for 3-4 males between the ages of 20-35. These individuals are active and enjoy walking, water activities, and outdoor pursuits. They like tech time and movies on rainy days indoors. They are mobile but require support with balance, personal cares including showers and dressing, and overseeing meal times.
Responsibilities
- Care for 3-4 males aged 20-35 at Crompton Place
- Support with balance and personal cares including showers and dressing
- Oversee meal times and assist with daily living activities
- Provide motivation and support for daily living skills
- Communicate effectively and supportively with family, colleagues, and the person you support
- Maintain a calm and safe environment for the individuals in your care
