Fortune Manning Lawyers, a leading Auckland-based law firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Lawyer to join our dynamic team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented lawyer with 5+ years PQE to progress their career in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

About the Role

In this role, you will provide high-quality legal advice to both local and international clients across a diverse range of high-value commercial matters , including :

Asset and business structuring advice
Share sales and purchases, restructures, and mergers
Shareholders’, joint venture, and partnership agreements
Service agreements, terms of trade, and contractor agreements
Business sales and purchases, and franchising
Commercial property leasing and sales
Corporate advice and trusts

The work is varied and challenging, requiring a proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to work independently while collaborating with our expert team.

About You

You are an ambitious and skilled lawyer with :

5+ years PQE in commercial law.

Strong technical expertise and a passion for delivering practical, client-focused solutions.

A proactive mindset, with the ability to manage complex matters independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
