Senior Civil Engineer / Project Manager – CanterburyWe are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer / Project Manager to join Pinnacles Civil in Christchurch.

This is a hands-on role where you will be a key part of the ongoing success of our Christchurch branch, building our local reputation and connections as a leading civil engineering design, construction, asset, and project management services.

You will manage projects and provide advanced professional technical leadership and expertise on medium to large civil infrastructure projects from procurement through to implementation, including design management, client management, and programme management.OverviewWe are a family-oriented team focused on collaboration and delivering a better future through the design, construction and maintenance of vital infrastructure like roads, bridges, earthworks, and retaining structures.

Since 2015 we have grown to multiple offices, and we value a team-first approach that supports one another.ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development – build on your established local connections to grow our brand and profile.Assist the Satellite Team Leader to achieve annual Business Plan objectives.Project management – fulfill the roles of Project Manager, Contract Manager, Engineer's Representative, Quality Manager, Environmental Manager, Site Safety Manager and Site Supervisor on assigned projects as required.Manage and / or provide transportation design and general civil design services and / or asset management to a senior level.QualificationsA relevant tertiary qualification.Minimum 10 years' experience in the Civil Engineering industry – within the Canterbury region.Strong local connections with local authorities and NZTA.Existing local knowledge and experience, with a focus on business development.Proven experience in Project Engineering and Project Management.Significant experience in transportation and general civil design and contract management with the ability to produce innovative and original work that provides specific technical solutions to complex challenges.Proven competence in planning and organising work schedules and delivering projects to specified timelines.BenefitsFree health insuranceFlexible working arrangementsActive social club5 weeks leave per yearFull use company vehicle
