Senior Civil Engineer

The CompanyJoin a large and established player in New Zealand's renewable energy sector.The RolePlay a key role planning and delivering a pipeline of civil projects that enhance the performance and safety of hydro and other civil assets across the Waitaki and Manapouri Power Schemes.Predominantly field focused, you'll work closely with site staff, suppliers, and key stakeholders.

Contributing at each stage of the project lifecycle from scoping and planning through to close-out you'll get to apply your civil engineering expertise while developing your dam specific knowledge.In doing so you will : Lead and support the delivery of various civil engineering projectsProvide engineering input into asset management decisionsWork closely with operations and maintenance teamsSupport surveillance programmes and civil asset investigationsMentor and support fellow engineersAbout YouWith a strong background in civil engineering and project delivery, you will have proven experience managing multiple stakeholders while balancing both technical and financial considerations in a pragmatic manner.Additionally, you will : Have a track record in working with a range of civil assetsStrong problem-solving and risk management skillsExperience in project planning, financial oversight, and reportingExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilitiesHold a relevant qualification in civil or related engineering fieldPrevious experience related to hydro is not required.
