The business has a culture of long-standing tenure, with many team members building careers and growing with the company over many years.About the role : Based in New Zealand, this role involves overseeing supply chain operations across NZ and the third-party manufacturer in Malaysia.
Leading a team of three direct reports (Materials Replenishment Planner, Purchaser, and Warehouse Team Leader), you will collaborate closely with Sales to prepare demand forecasts that guide production and ensure high levels of customer fulfilment.Key responsibilities : Develop and implement clear, effective planning strategies to meet supply chain needs and optimise distribution.Lead materials replenishment planning, defining inventory goals, balancing stock levels, and managing risk.Manage purchasing and inventory across NZ and Malaysian operations, negotiating terms with suppliers, vendors, and freight forwarders.Oversee logistics, freight, and warehousing to ensure timely, cost-effective movement of materials and products.Monitor supplier performance, build strong supplier relationships, and identify opportunities to improve procurement and operational processes.Support weekly and monthly business reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.Track, define, and report key supply chain performance metrics.Identify and implement short- and long-term supply chain plans to optimise procedures and reduce costs.What experience will you bring to be successful in this role?
