Reporting into the Head of Safety Pacific, the new Regional Manager - NZ will be based at our Auckland office in New Zealand. You will lead our Safety Division’s Sales and Service teams in NZ in the development and management of strategy, planning, operations, and associated budgets to achieve business goals.
Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to :
- Lead and grow a high performing Sales and Service team in NZ;
- Monitor, generate, and maintain a sustainable direct and indirect sales pipeline;
- Assess and guide in the motivation, training, and supervision of indirect sales partners;
- Oversee sufficient financial, physical, and team resources to meet business objectives and budgets;
- Maintain current project list or CRM record while overseeing projects such that they are delivered on time, to budget, and in-line with specifications;
- Prepare and present business performance reports for management and key stakeholders;
- Ensure team members are effectively trained in for operations to support customers;
- Collaborate effectively with the Service, Sales and RSS Leadership across ANZ;
- Develop and prepare annual and supplementary sales and expense budgets;
- Apply a compliance focused mindset across all operations, and;
- Always ensure a safety-first approach.
The ideal candidate will be equipped with the following attributes :
Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience;2+ years’ experience in a similar strategic, people, and technical leadership role;5+ years’ experience in a technical sales and marketing role;Commercial acumen, ability to engage C-Suite, and strategic mindset;Adept in sales techniques and training, coaching, and mentoring mid-level managers;Well versed with both direct and indirect technical sales;Willingness to travel across APAC as part of the role;Adaptability and readiness to handle multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment;Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn;Exemplary understanding of compliance rules and ability to act as a role model in upholding and promoting compliance standards, and;Excellent leadership, relationship and team building, influencing, negotiation, conflict resolution, stakeholder management, problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.Make a difference – and be rewarded accordingly.
