About the Role
The role of Regional Director is responsible for leading the delivery of Hauora Maori services in the regions.
This role is focused on commissioning, delivery of patient facing services and monitoring of sector and service performance to improve Hauora Maori outcomes.
Regional Directors are also members of the Hauora Maori Service Senior Leadership Team who collectively ensure that efforts are prioritised to focus on the things that will make the biggest health impact for Maori.

As the Hauora Maori Service of Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora (Health NZ) our core role is to ensure New Zealanders have better and more timely access to health care.
The devolution of resources and decision making to the regions ensures those closest to service users and whanau are involved in decisions on how healthcare is delivered.

About you
You will be able to provide strategic direction and oversight to regional workforces, as well as providing direction for regional service improvement and planning for the delivery of services and whanau-centred models of care.
You will be skilled at working collaboratively and using your influence skills to focus delivery and lift performance.
