Are you a dynamic and experienced educator ready to take the next step in your leadership journey? Plimmerton School is seeking an exceptional and inspiring team leader for our Y7–8 cohort, starting term 1, 2026 .

Our Y7–8 programme focuses on providing engaging, challenging, and authentic learning experiences designed to transition our students confidently to high school.

As the Y7–8 team leader, you\'ll play a crucial role in shaping the success and culture of our senior school. You will be responsible for :

• Leading and mentoring the Y7–8 teaching team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative professional learning community.
• Driving pedagogical excellence in the senior school, particularly in integrated curriculum design, inquiry-based learning , and the effective use of digital technologies.
• Overseeing the pastoral care and wellbeing of the Y7–8 students, ensuring a supportive and engaging transition to high school.
• Teaching a class within the Y7–8 environment.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with students, staff, whānau (families), and the wider community.
