Overview

VidaCorp is seeking a highly skilled and commercially minded Legal Counsel to provide legal advice and support across our business operations. This role will work closely with Marketing, R&D, Sales, Supply Chain, and Procurement teams, ensuring compliance, protecting our brand, and enabling growth.

About the role

VidaCorp is seeking a highly skilled and commercially minded Legal Counsel to provide legal advice and support across our business operations. This role will work closely with Marketing, R&D, Sales, Supply Chain, and Procurement teams, ensuring compliance, protecting our brand, and enabling growth. You will be responsible for managing a wide portfolio of legal matters with a focus on intellectual property, marketing, and commercial contracts, while also delivering practical compliance training and advice.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead management of VidaCorp’s intellectual property portfolio, including trade marks and IP clearance.
• Provide legal oversight on new product development (NPD and regulatory issues).
• Advise on marketing and advertising issues across the portfolio.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contractual arrangements such as agency agreements and influencer contracts.
• Support and manage dispute resolution processes
• Draft, review, and negotiate trading terms, supply arrangements, procurement agreements, distribution agreements, and customer contracts.
• Advise on pricing, promotional activity, and compliance with competition and consumer law
• Provide regular ad-hoc legal updates across the business to ensure awareness of regulatory and legislative changes.
• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, always balancing legal risk with commercial objectives.
