Te whiwhinga mahi - Our opportunity
As Project Manager - Planned Programmes, you'll work with a variety of stakeholders to contract and deliver bespoke projects of work including exterior paint and re-roofing projects across the country.
Projects could include engineers report, designs and council consent and involve working with external contractors in the market.
You'll use project management principles to ensure your portfolio of projects are delivered on time, to budget and meet all compliance requirements.
Your expertise in property fire safety provisions, refurbishment and prior practical, on the tools experience will ensure that you have the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully manage your portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with NZ Building Code.
Contract and deliver bespoke paint and re-roofing projects.
Read architectural designs, engineers reports, and building plans.
Work with external contractors and stakeholders.
Nga Pumanawatanga Ou - What You Will Bring
Up to date recognised Project Management certification e.g. Prince2.
At least 5 years of proven project management experience in construction or residential property maintenance.
Tertiary qualification in Project Management / Engineering or similar.
Substantial practical experience in property maintenance or construction.
Demonstrated experience in contract management and negotiation.
Effective engagement with stakeholders, contractors and colleagues.
Desire and resilience to work in a complex and constantly changing environment.
Sound understanding of all legislative requirements within construction industry (NZS
Current Driver's Licence.
