With a supportive team culture and high expectations, it's an environment where initiative and problem-solving are valued.About the RoleYou'll step in as a Survey Technician with a primary focus on field work, supporting a growing pipeline of projects.
This role will give you ownership and visibility across entire projects – from planning and coordination through to delivery.
With the business scaling, there's scope to step into a 2IC role, working alongside and eventually leading a team of 4–5 surveyors.DutiesCarry out surveying fieldwork across subdivisions, greenfield, and land development projectsCoordinate and execute projects from start to finish, working independently and autonomouslyEnsure compliance with health and safety requirementsWork closely with surveyors, engineers, and clients to deliver resultsQualifications2–3 years' experience in surveying or related fieldwork (minimum)Strong problem-solving ability and initiative – able to work without close supervisionGreenfield or subdivision project experience idealMust have current NZ working rightsTertiary qualification in surveying or a diploma advantageousBenefitsPathway to 2IC role as the team expandsFull project exposure – see projects through start to finishSupportive, high-performing team with growth opportunitiesCompetitive salary package (early six figures possible with 5+ years' experience)Chance to be part of a firm in growth modeIf this sounds like a bit of you, apply below and send your CV to
