    About the Role

    Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for healthcare excellence? Were looking for an experienced and motivated Anaesthetic Technician Manager and Registered Nurse Anaesthetic Assistant (RNAA) to join our perioperative team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of anaesthetic services.

    In this pivotal role, you will strike a balance between day-to-day operations and strategic workforce planning, ensuring our anaesthetic technician team delivers outstanding care. Your core responsibilities will include staff leadership, workload prioritisation, and championing continuous improvement initiatives within the theatre environment.     Reporting directly to the Theatre Manager and working closely alongside the Professional Lead Anaesthetic Technicians / RNAA, you will oversee the administrative and operational management of our highly skilled technician workforce. This role offers a rewarding blend of strategic influence, team leadership, and hands-on operational management.

      About you

    • Proven track record in driving continuous improvement; leads by example and sets the standard for professional behaviour and excellent work habits that support a positive, progressive working environment.
    • Demonstrated ability to cultivate high staff morale and engagement.
    • Champion of a `can do attitude and promote a `can do attitude across the team.
    • Experience in developing and maintaining flexible team structure, including appropriate succession planning and avoiding single points of failure.
    • Skilled in nurturing and driving team performance and individual growth by encouraging professional development and skill sets.
    • Adept at balancing strategic vision with hands-on operational execution to achieve organizational goals.
    • Have a tertiary qualification (or relevant health management experience).
    • Experience in operational planning, and management experience.
    • Have analytical, budgeting skills and financial skills.
    • Experience in the operating theatre environment will be a significant advantage.
