Our philosophy of family spirit is the cornerstone of our delivery of care, embracing residents, their whanau, staff and benefactors.The role : This is a permanent, part-time night-shift position, working Saturday & Sunday and every second Monday (42.5 hrs per fortnight) with possibility of extra hours to cover staff absence across all shifts.Our night team plays a crucial role in ensuring our residents feel safe, respected, and well cared for while the rest of the world sleeps.

You will be responsible for : Monitoring the health and wellbeing of our residents overnightManaging medications and responding to clinical needsProviding comfort and reassurance during the quiet hoursAccurately documenting care and reporting changesLeading and supporting overnight care staffQualifications and attributesIs a NZ Registered Nurse with a current APCHas experience in aged care nursing (preferred)Is calm under pressure and able to act decisivelyHas strong observation and clinical assessment skillsIs independent and confident in after-hours decision-makingIs compassionate, respectful, and resident-focusedPossesses excellent communication and handover skillsIs physically and mentally resilient with good staminaReady to make a real difference under the moonlight?
