OverviewThis role sits in the Council's Community Group, which comprises community focused services such as Hamilton Pool, Parks and Recreation, Hamilton City Libraries and the city's three main visitor attractions.
The Parks and Recreation team maintains and develops Hamilton's Park network for the community.
Our work ensures Hamilton is beautiful, fun, connected, and meets our community wants and needs, making our city one we're all proud of.The opportunity focuses on delivering high-quality turf surfaces to support community and club-level play.What You'll Be DoingMaintain sports surfaces to a high standard, ensuring safety and playability.Complete allocated work to a high standard within agreed timeframes.Represent the team professionally—no public complaints is our benchmark.Keep all equipment, plant, and resources clean, tidy, and in working order.Support the wider parks team when required by the Team Leader.Accurately complete daily timesheets, work schedules, and records.You'll be part of a team that values professionalism, teamwork, and community impact.
