About the job

We are seeking a hands-on leader to supervise a team of Carpenter / Fabricators during the night shift , working with specialized machinery . With the recent installation of our second production line, we are expanding our leadership team to meet increasing demand.

This is a permanent, full-time, night shift role and the roster and hours will be as follows : Sunday to Thursday, 2.30pm to midnight. This role offers a competitive rate based on skills and experience. Additional benefits include a generous staff discount scheme at our associated Mitre 10 stores and Columbus cafés.

What You’ll Bring

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, with production line management a plus.
• Proven leadership skills , with a proactive and hands-on approach to team management.
• Strong problem-solving ability , with a knack for finding innovative solutions.
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of construction methodologies , including the ability to read and build from plans.
• A commitment to health and safety , ensuring a safe and compliant workplace
