Senior Solicitor / Senior Associate - Dispute Resolution (Wellington)

Our leading Dispute Resolution team in Wellington is looking for an experienced commercial litigation lawyer to join us.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on some of New Zealand's most interesting and high-profile disputes, alongside experienced litigation partners, and in a team that values collaboration, excellence and innovation.

This role will have a high degree of client contact, acting for a diverse range of clients across industries.

You'll be part of a busy and highly regarded team, working on a variety of complex commercial litigation matters.

About you

As the ideal candidate, you will have at least 4 years' dispute resolution experience in a commercial law firm, and a desire to progress and develop your career in litigation.

You will be able to lead work on files on a day-to-day basis with the client, have strong technical, written and analytical skills and enjoy being given a high degree of direct client contact and responsibility.

You'll enjoy working collaboratively, mentoring junior lawyers, and participating in business development activities.

A commercial approach, strong academic background, and clear and effective communication will be key to your success on our team.

Most importantly, you'll be passionate about delivering excellent outcomes for clients.
