Bar Staff

The Role

We are looking to hire a part-time senior bartender for our busy restaurant in Christchurch. This is an evening role we open at 5 or 6pm and go through till approximately 11pm.

Your main responsibilities

• Greeting (and charming!) customers.
• Making, serving and selling cocktails, coffees, shots, bottled, mixed drinks and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Setting up the bar for busy periods and completing the opening / closing systems including cleaning and maintaining bar service areas.
• Promoting products and upselling.
• Washing glassware, arranging bottles and glasses as well as tapping kegs and attaching supply lines.
• Handling customer payments.
• Assisting the sales manager as required.

Skills / Experience

We are looking for an energetic, flexible and hard working candidate. You have some hospitality experience and are looking to take things to the next level. When starting out with us you will become an pro on the bar and / or floor and if willing and keen we will progress you into the management team and take you through all the training required.
