We're are excited to be partnering with a growing civil construction company to recruit a Business Manager who thrives on structure, compliance, and continuous improvement.
This is a pivotal role where you'll oversee financial, operational, and administrative systems to keep projects running smoothly and profitably.
About the Role Reporting to the Managing Director, you'll manage key business functions including : Financial Claims Management – Ensure accurate invoicing, debtor control, and monthly profitability reporting.
Fleet Management – Maintain compliance and optimize asset utilization using Fleet Pin.
Purchase Order Delegated Authority – Implement and enforce PO systems and approval frameworks.
HR Payroll Administration – Oversee timesheets, payroll, onboarding, and leave management.
Health Safety – Drive compliance through HazardCo and proactive PPE management.
Systems Reporting – Deliver timely, accurate reports and continuously improve workflows.
What Success Looks Like 100% compliance across invoicing, fleet, and safety systems.
Debtor days under 30 and accurate monthly profitability reports.
Zero overdue hazard or incident follow-ups.
Implementation of process improvements that boost efficiency.
About You Strong financial acumen and understanding of construction claims.
Operational discipline with a knack for compliance.
Proficiency in systems like Xero, Fleet Pin, and HazardCo preferred.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Integrity and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
