Site Manager

We're seeking an experiencedSite Managerwith Carpentry qualifications and anLBP licenseto join our team.

In this role, you'll work closely with Project Managers and Site Supervisors to deliver multiple new build projects, including multi-unit developments.Your leadership of multi-trade teams and experience as the first point of contact on-site will be key to driving project success.

You'll bring a strong understanding of design drawings and construction programmes, along with a proactive approach to Health & Safety.Key responsibilities include but are not limited to : Manage day-to-day site operations, including coordination of trades and subcontractorsProvide regular updates to the Project Manager on programme, site control, H&S, and QAEnsure construction works are delivered on time and meet contract obligationsOversee project documentation, site controls, and programme trackingOrder materials strategically to meet site requirementsCoordinate subcontractors and suppliers effectivelyMaintain high standards of Quality AssurancePlan ahead for long-lead material ordersRequirements : Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) and qualified carpenterMinimum 10 years' experience in new builds, including 3 years in multi-unit developmentsProven leadership of trade teams and on-site coordinationStrong technical knowledge of NZ Building Code and ability to interpret design drawings and MS Project programmesSkilled in material take-offs, prenail structure installation, and reviewing shop drawingsMinimum 3 years as the primary on-site contact, with strong stakeholder engagementConfident in leading toolbox meetings and managing Health & Safety requirementsFull driver's licenseBenefitsFull Use VehicleSouthern Cross Medical InsuranceRecognition and rewards through our Employee Recognition Programme.Career development opportunities within a growing group of companies.Be part of a region experiencing significant industry growth.About the CompanyWe are a purpose-driven, family-owned business with a proud history of enhancing homes and communities across Aotearoa since 1983.
