About the Role
We're on the lookout for a capable and delivery-focused
Industrial Project Manager
to join our team at Head Office in Christchurch.
This role offers a high degree of autonomy and is ideal for someone who thrives in complex brownfield environments.
You'll lead and deliver a range of industrial capital projects across our manufacturing and distribution network, with a strong emphasis on engineering best practices.
You'll be responsible for managing all aspects of project execution — from feasibility through to completion — ensuring safety, quality, and budget expectations are met.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of multidisciplinary industrial projects, primarily in brownfield settings around operations
Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations
Oversee contractor and consultant engagement, ensuring alignment and delivery with project goals
Apply robust procurement and contract management practices
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, codes, and regulatory requirements
Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and systems
Champion a strong safety culture across all project activities

Ideal Skills & Experience
Tertiary qualification in Engineering
Experience delivering multi-discipline, complex brownfield projects
Competent in working with operations teams, to ensure projects are successfully delivered
Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary engineering teams and contractors
Strong front-end project development skills including feasibility, concept design, cost estimation, and business case preparation
Demonstrated success delivering projects over $2M in value
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Committed to delivering projects safely, both in terms of safety in design, construction safety and operational safety
