About the role

We are seeking a passionate Registered Nurse join our fabulous team at Karori Village in Karori, Wellington to support our residents living with Dementia.

This role is a permanent, full-time position, working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday from 7am to 3.30 pm.

Some of the great things you will be doing :

Clinical assessment, planning and implementation of nursing care.

Effective communication and clinical problem-solving skills

Work collaboratively with other team members

Develop and review care plans in consultation with our residents and their families.

Provide compassionate and high-level care.

About you

You pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service to our residents and have empathy for the older person.

You also have :

Current Practicing Certificate and first aid certificate

Strong nursing experience, aged care - even better!

Experience working in secure Dementia level of care

Up to date knowledge of wound care management

Demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills.

You are also a team player with a caring, respectful manner which is important in our aged care environment.
