Responsibilities and opportunities

• Gain hands-on surgical experience in a tertiary teaching centre and neighbouring hospitals
• Rotate through a broad range of sub-specialties (allocations discussed at interview)
• Be part of a supportive, team-based environment with excellent teaching opportunities
• Competitive salary package : $106,672 – $134,303 NZD per annum (depending on experience)

The Role

As a Resident Doctor in General Surgery, you will work across hospitals in the Wellington region, gaining exposure to a diverse caseload and benefiting from a collaborative learning environment.
