- About the Role
- As our Data Co-ordinator, you will play a vital role in boththe consumer experience and the data integrity of the Anxiety DisordersService.
You'll be the first point of contact for consumers and their whanau,ensuring they feel welcomed, supported, and informed throughout theirassessment journey.
The dataco-ordination role is primarily tasked with providing evidence about theeffectiveness of our programmes and for research purposes.You'll also be responsible for managing service data 'maintaining accurate records, producing reports and audits, and contributing tothe team's continuous improvement efforts.As part of the Administration and Clerical Pay Equity Claimsettlement this role has been mapped to National Band 1 / Profile 1AFor further information about the administration andclerical pay equity settlement please follow the link below :
Key ResponsibilitiesConsumer & Whanau SupportWelcome consumers and their whanau, helping reduce anxiety and build engagement in the assessment process.Provide orientation to the building and explain forms and processes clearly.Support completion and scoring of psychometric assessments, highlighting any concerns to clinicians.Promote partnership and understanding throughout the assessment journey.Data Management & ReportingEnter, maintain and audit data in Access, Excel, and SAP databases for assessments, treatments, and discharges.Follow up missing or inconsistent information with clinical staff.Produce monthly and annual reports on referrals, assessments, treatments, and discharges.Contribute to service projects, data analysis, and presentations for team planning.Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in all systems.About the Team / Service / LocationThe AnxietyDisorders Service, a Specialty Mental Health Service of Health NZ | TeWhatu Ora Waitaha, provides specialistassessment and treatment to people whose everyday lives are significantlyaffected by an anxiety disorder.The AnxietyDisorders Service is a multi-disciplinary team comprised of a ConsultantPsychiatrist, Clinical Psychologists, Clinical Nurse Therapists, OccupationalTherapist, Social Worker, Registrar, Physiotherapist, Dietician, DataCoordinator and other administration staff.About YouEssential skills and experience :Proven experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Outlook, Word).Experience working with databases, data analysis, auditing, and report writing.Excellent customer service, communication, and documentation skills.Ability to build rapport and work effectively with consumers, whanau, and health professionals.Desired :Experience working collaboratively in a team environment.Background in health, community services, or related administrative settings.Working at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuringexcellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
