To keep our practice running smoothly, we're looking for a talented Practice Coordinator to join our team and be at the heart of our daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead front-of-house and reception services so patients feel cared for from the moment they arrive
- Coordinate practice operations across two sites, including rosters, stock, and compliance
- Manage Xero entries, banking, reconciliations, and debtor collection with accuracy
- Oversee PHO, ACC and insurance claims and support reporting deadlines
- Be the go-to person for IT and systems (especially confident with Indici, Pegasus updates, printers, troubleshooting)
- Support team communication, onboarding, and create a positive, manaakitanga-based culture
- Champion quality, safety and continuous improvement
Qualifications
Previous experience in medical or health practice administration (GP or similar)Confidence with financial processes (Xero, banking, reconciliations)Organisational skills and calm efficiency in a busy environmentTech-savvy with practice management systems, preferably Indici and Microsoft OfficeWarm, approachable communication styleA natural relationship builderFlexibility to work across two sites and step in where neededWhat we offer
