Practice Nurse - Tend Harewood

Overview

Tend Harewood is a friendly, local general practice with a strong community focus.

Supported by an experienced team, our ideal candidate is an enthusiastic nurse who looks forward to being part of a successful, dynamic growing practice and is wanting to take their nursing career to the top of their scope. You will be used to thinking on your feet and responding to changing clinical needs and workflow.

Qualifications

• NZ Nursing Registration and current APC
• Practice nursing experience is desirable but happy to look at new graduates
• Current vaccinator certificate also desirable
• Smear taker certificate is desirable
• IV cannulation experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Understanding and previous experience using PMS, Indici experience will be useful
• Compassion and empathy for patients is a must.
• Ability to multi task and work in high pressure situations a must.
• This role is 40 hours per week but is negotiable
