This is an exciting opportunity to provide clinical leadership, coordinate seamless care across hospital and community settings, and make a real difference in the lives of people with complex respiratory disease.As the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), you will provide specialist nursing knowledge, assessment, and management for patients with respiratory conditions including airways disease, sleep and ventilation disorders, and patients requiring home oxygen.

You'll lead nurse led clinics, contribute to pulmonary rehabilitation programmes, and support continuous improvement in patient outcomes through evidence-based practice and education.Working closely with the multidisciplinary team, Maaori and Pacific health services, and primary care partners, you will play a key role in developing integrated care pathways and strengthening service delivery across the continuum of care.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide specialist clinical assessment, treatment planning, and management for patients with complex respiratory disease.Lead nurse-led respiratory outpatient clinics and provide expert input to multidisciplinary team (MDT) clinics and meetingsFacilitate and support Pulmonary Rehabilitation and other community respiratory initiatives.Provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and education to nursing and allied health staff.Contribute to policy and guideline development, service evaluation, and research initiatives.Build effective partnerships with primary care providers, community health workers, and external agencies to ensure seamless care.Promote health literacy and culturally responsive care that aligns with Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles.Why Join Us?
