About the Role :

Join our dedicated Cardiology team at Middlemore Hospital and help us make a real difference in our community.

We are looking for an experienced individual who is passionate about cardiology to provide expert cardiac rehabilitation advanced patient care across Counties Manukau District as a Clinical Nurse Specialist.

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will :

  • Provide specialist nursing care, assessment, and support for patients with complex heart conditions.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
  • Support patients and their whanau throughout their health journey, reflecting the values of Counties Manukau District.
  • Lead and promote evidence-based practices to continuously improve the quality of care.About you :
  • We are seeking a dedicated and passionate cardiology nurse committed to delivering exceptional clinical leadership.

    The ideal candidate will possess :

  • Registration as a New Zealand Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practicing Certificate.
  • A minimum of five years post-registration nursing experience in cardiology within New Zealand.
  • Recent experience in acute care or cardiology nursing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with patients, their families, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.Why Join Us :
