As an integral member of our multidisciplinary Urology team, the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless patient whanau-centered care while promoting evidence-based best practice.Provide expert clinical assessment, treatment, education, and case management for urology patients.
Lead service development, provide education and clinical expertise for Urology across Health New Zealand - Waikato.This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in innovation, values collaborative practice, and is passionate about advancing Urology / continence care.Responsibilities and RequirementsRegistered Nurse with minimum 3 years' experience in Urology / continence.Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.A current practicing certificate.Post-graduate qualification or working towards.Completed a Professional Development and Recognition Programme at proficient and / or above.The ability to work independently.A strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Adaptability, flexibility, and agility.The salary for this position will be based on experience and in line with the NZNO Collective Agreement.
