Sustainability Technical Analyst

What you'll do :

As a Sustainability Technical Analyst at Northwest Healthcare Properties, you will be instrumental in driving forward the company’s ambitious sustainability agenda. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include :

• Assist with calculating and validating Scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas emissions data using GHG Protocol standards to ensure accurate environmental reporting
• Support the preparation of annual sustainability and climate-related disclosures by gathering, organising, and verifying relevant data inputs
• Maintain ESG data management tools and trackers to facilitate both internal analysis and external reporting requirements.
• Prepare clearly referenced datasets and comprehensive documentation to support assurance processes and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with property, asset management, and operations teams to collect energy usage and utility data from diverse sources across the organisation.
• Respond promptly to internal queries regarding environmental data while escalating any issues or gaps to senior team members as needed.
• Assist in managing sustainability-related investor relations by preparing financial and sustainability reports for Board members and executive stakeholders.
• Research evolving ESG disclosure frameworks such as XRB and GRESB to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical support for basic emissions modelling, energy benchmarking activities, and GHG forecasting tools using Excel.
• Help track, organise, and maintain technical evidence required for assurance providers while ensuring version control of all submitted environmental data.
