About the Role

We are seeking a Registered Healthcare Professional (e.g., RNOT, Social Worker) with Mental Health experience to join the Community Mental Health Team (CMHT). The CMHT provides services through a multidisciplinary team approach, including specialist psychiatric assessment and treatment for adults with moderate to severe psychiatric disorders.

The primary function of the “case manager” is to work alongside individuals to help them achieve their goals based on their needs. This role requires a sound understanding of psychiatric disorders and medications, and involves providing community support, interpersonal, social, recreational, vocational, and independent living activities for the people served.

About You

The successful candidate will be familiar with the diverse needs of clients dealing with mental health issues and be passionate about guiding clients towards recovery. You will utilize your strengths, family, and community supports, while being guided by your own cultural needs, goals, and aspirations. Additionally, you will :

• Be registered with a current APC to practice in NZ within the relevant scope of practice
• Have relevant mental health experience
• Commit to a strengths-based recovery approach to case management
• Enjoy working in a team environment
• Possess a current full driver’s license
