To do this effectively we must position ourselves to elevate our monitoring and mentoring responsibilities and emphasise our role in holding other agencies to account for delivery of public services to, for and with Maori.

This role reports to the Manukura | Team Leader, Rotorua and is a full-time, permanent opportunity.
Te whai wahitanga | The opportunity As a Senior Advisor, you'll play a pivotal role in partnering with whanau, hapu, iwi, Maori organisations, and communities to drive initiatives that enhance long-term economic and social outcomes for Maori.
You'll act as a key conduit for information, gathering insights on Maori aspirations and experiences to inform policy development.
This role also involves leading stakeholder relationships, managing local contracts, guiding investment decisions, and mentoring Advisors within your region.
The likely appointment range is $104,317 - $115,907 based on skills and experience.

Mou | About you Excellent writing skills and the ability to tailor complex messages to a range of audiences are essential skills for this role.
You will possess keen analytical skills, and the ability to identify and support economic development and community growth opportunities.
Ideally you will have Government grants, funding and / or contract management knowledge and experience.
