The role | Te tunga
We are seeking a forward-thinking AI Privacy Advisor to lead the development and enforcement of privacy frameworks across our AI systems and data-driven operations.
This is a fixed term role based in Wellington.
This role is critical in ensuring ethical AI deployment, regulatory compliance, and public trust in our initiatives.
This role would suit someone who can bring :
Experience in leading privacy work.
An in-depth knowledge of AI
Experience in a similar role that included a large component of strengthening privacy capability.
Deep technical knowledge and experience in privacy and information sharing.
Excellent relationship skills to champion privacy at all levels
Demonstration of matauranga Maori, fluency in te reo, understanding of tikanga and applying Te Tiriti o Waitangi in a work setting own capability.
Demonstrate a willingness to upskill and increase your cultural capability
Understanding of the machinery of government and related processes and procedures.
We understand transferable skills can come from experience gained from outside of work.
