  • Based in WellingtonWe're looking for a Management Advisor, internally known as Management Support, to join our team and help drive change, shape priorities, and provide strategic insights that make a real difference.

  • The opportunity
  • We are looking for someone with a strong focus on creating great working relationships to enable the delivery of timely advice and support to the Programme Lead and the wider team.
  • As the team's Management Support, you will :
  • provide advice and analysis to support the Programme Lead and Senior Leadership Team
  • provide strategic insights on improvement opportunities within Policy
  • support workforce planning by assessing current capability, identifying future skill needs, and helping align resources to organisational priorities
  • oversee business-as-usual work planning and prioritisation processes
  • challenge the status quo by presenting and testing new ideas
  • support and enhance our reporting to meet business needs.
  • Mou - About you
  • To be successful in this role you will have the following :
  • Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills at all levels
  • Can confidently provide strategic advice and influence decision-making
  • The ability to organise and plan, to multi-task and to juggle competing priorities
  • An eye for the big picture and the insight to link things together
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Successfully lead initiatives which contributed to successful customer and business solutions
  • A passion for professional and personal development, both of yourself and of those around you
  • Policy advises Government on a range of tax and social policy issues.
  • We research and develop policy options and present policy recommendations to senior officials and ministers.

    We also prepare the legislation arising from those policy recommendations really make a difference
