- The role :
- This is a broad, high-impact position where you'll be the trusted advisor to people leaders across the organisation.
You'll use your judgement and expertise to provide sound advice, coach leaders, and help us make meaningful progress towards our strategic goals.
Key responsibilities include :Providing trusted advice and coaching to leaders on employment relations, workforce planning, recruitment, and professional developmentSupporting the development of people policies and procedures that embed Te Tiriti o Waitangi and equityPartnering with leaders to develop capability plans aligned with organisational prioritiesDelivering accurate people-related data and reporting to inform decision-makingSupporting the implementation of our remuneration strategy and guiding leaders through annual remuneration processes in line with public sector expectationsEnsuring smooth payroll operations in collaboration with our People, Culture and Capability CoordinatorMentoring and uplifting capability within the People, Culture and Capability teamWhat you will bring :Proven experience in a senior HR, People, Culture or Capability roles within complex organisation.Strong background in employment relations, policy development and workforce planning.Demonstrated ability to design and deliver people frameworks, particularly in talent management and performance development.Sound knowledge of employment legislation, public sector standards and HR best practice.Working in or alongside the health sector is highly desirable.An understanding of the health system context will help you navigate complexity and contribute meaningfully to our kaupapa.
