This is a permanent role with a salary of $131,727 plus five weeks' annual leave and insurance benefits.ResponsibilitiesManage and deliver a diverse range of special property maintenance and refurbishment projectsContract and oversee programmes of work outside standard maintenance activities, including remediation of maintenance issues, possibly covering subsidence, driveway resurfacing, and other complex worksCoordinate with councils, engineers and geotechnical reports; work with external contractors and maintenance partnersApply project management principles to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in compliance; include site management and some travel as requiredCollaborate with stakeholders to ensure clear priorities and timely completionWhat you will bring (Qualifications and Experience)At least 5 years of proven project management experience in construction or residential property maintenanceCertified or qualified builder with more than 5 years in residential renovations / refurbishmentsExperience reading architectural designs, engineers reports and building plansTertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering or similar with a minimum of 5 years project management experienceSubstantial practical experience in property maintenance or constructionExperience in contract management and negotiationDemonstrated engagement with stakeholders, contractors and colleagues to communicate priorities and meet deadlinesDesire and resilience to work in a complex, changing environmentUp-to-date project management certification (e.g., Prince2)Understanding of construction industry legislation (NZS3604, Healthy Homes Act, etc.)Current Driver's LicenceWhat's in it for you?
