Our East Tamaki clinic is looking for a committed and dedicated Social Worker who will work with our team of allied health staff to provide support and evidence-based care to our clients.
The ideal candidate will be approachable and warm, aiding clients with challenges that impact their social determinants of health.
This is a part-time, permanent role and requires flexibility to travel across Auckland.
Responsibilities
Assist clients in addressing the needs identified in planning reports
Ensure successful rehabilitation outcomes - addressing emergency needs
Provide brief social work intervention when needed e.g. counselling when needed
Ensure clients and their whanau are kept well informed of our support services and resources

The Ideal Candidate
Degree in social work or equivalent
Annual Practicing certificate as registered Social Worker
Membership of SWRB and ANZASW
Excellent interpersonal skills
Mental health and ACC experience are essential
Must have full drivers license
