Our East Tamaki clinic is looking for a committed and dedicated Social Worker who will work with our team of allied health staff to provide support and evidence-based care to our clients.
The ideal candidate will be approachable and warm, aiding clients with challenges that impact their social determinants of health.
This is a part-time, permanent role and requires flexibility to travel across Auckland.
Responsibilities
Assist clients in addressing the needs identified in planning reports
Ensure successful rehabilitation outcomes – addressing emergency needs
Provide brief social work intervention when needed (e.g., counselling)
Ensure clients and their whanau are kept well informed of our support services and resources

Qualifications / Ideal Candidate
Degree in social work or equivalent
Annual Practising certificate as a registered Social Worker
Membership of SWRB and ANZASW
Excellent interpersonal skills
Mental health and ACC experience are essential
Must have a full driver's license
