Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst Lead with strong expertise in Mainframe and SAS to join our team in Wellington, New Zealand. The ideal candidate should bring deep technical knowledge, strong analytical skills, and proven experience working in complex IT environments, particularly within the banking or financial services domain.

Key Responsibilities :

• Bring 10+ years of IT experience , including 5+ years in Mainframe and 2+ years in SAS .
• Work extensively with ISPF, JCL, Spooling, and DB2 connections .
• Manage and analyze SASLOG, SASLIST usage in batch mode.
• Handle multiple file formats within Mainframe, including VSAM, CSV, and EBCDIC .
• Understand and review SAS programs within Mainframe PDS .
• Operate within Mainframe job schedulers and ensure efficient job execution.
• Run and troubleshoot Mainframe Jobs including SAS jobs , identifying and resolving errors effectively.
• Collaborate within the Banking or Financial Services sector —experience in this domain will be an added advantage.
• Experience in COBOL will be considered a plus but is not mandatory.
