This role offers a ton of variety – you will be working across : Sundry BillingProcess weekly statements and direct debits to MembersExecute all sundry and ad hoc billing across the businessFollow up with functional areas to ensure recurring charges are raised consistentlyAccounts ReceivableSupport billing tasks related to change of ownershipsManage retention accounts effectively and on timeFinancial ActivitiesDaily banking and payments allocationChristmas club processingStaff fuel charge managementGeneral ledger journal entries and on-charging via GLSU (e.g. accounting and interest fees)Day-to-day management of Foodstuffs Gift Vouchers, including customer liaisonContinuous Improvement & CollaborationIdentify root causes of unnecessary transactions or payment delaysCollaborate across teams to develop and implement solutionsMaintain high service standards and report improvements to the Accounts Receivable ManagerParticipate in business initiatives, cross-team training, and development opportunitiesEnsure all communication is professional, clear, and conciseSupport the team with escalations, training, and cross-skilling as neededHe korero mou - About youThis is a busy role in a small team, with a mix of accounts, admin and customer service and you will have had previous experience in Accounts Receivable / Payable, understand financial workflows and be comfortable working at pace – we need you to hit the ground running!
You will have a customer centric approach with high level of relationship management focus to deliver excellence.Exceptional planning and communication skills – both written and verbal, with a great ability to collaborate with others, clearly articulate ideas / concepts and present to others.
