We are seeking an experienced and passionate Rheumatologist / General Medicine SMO to join our dynamic team at North Shore and Waitākere Hospitals . This is an exciting opportunity to provide specialist care across Rheumatology and General Medicine while contributing to the health and wellbeing of our diverse communities.

About the Role

• Deliver high-quality Rheumatology care and participate in the General Medicine roster (including after-hours and weekend on-call).
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to improve access and outcomes for all, with a strong focus on equity for Māori and Pacific peoples.
• Engage in teaching, supervision, and mentoring of junior medical staff and medical students.
• Contribute to service development, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiatives.
