The Community Stroke Rehabilitation (CSR) Team and the Assessment, Treatment & Rehabilitation team are seeking an experienced physiotherapist to join their teams.
CSR provides stroke specialist rehabilitation in the clients own homes with a focus on community reintegration and promotion of self-management. You will be a key member of an interdisciplinary team using your expertise in assessment and clinical interventions to deliver rehabilitation including an early supported discharge model of care. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a dynamic team, leading the delivery of stroke rehabilitation in the community.
As one of a team of physiotherapists in AT&R you will be responsible for the assessment and treatment of a clinically and culturally diverse client group. You will managean outpatient caseload of neurological, vestibular and amputee rehabilitation.
The role will be split 0.5fte in CSR and 0.5fte in the AT&R outpatient clinic.
You will be professionally supported by a section head and other experienced Physiotherapists as well as the wider team of Occupational Therapists, Rehab Assistants, Needs Co-ordinator, Speech and Language Therapists, Social workers, Nurses, Psychologists, Dieticians and Doctors.

There is scope for service development and implementing projects to improve the care of your patients. Ideally you will be able to work autonomously, as well as part of an inter-disciplinary team and ongoing support will be provided as required.
