About the Role
As the Clinical Quality Consultant Certification , you will play a key role in ensuring Te Toka Tumai continues to meet and maintain national health certification standards supporting safe, high‑quality care for our patients and communities in line with the Ngā Paerewa Health and Disability Services Standard (NZS 8134 : 2021).
Youll act as a subject matter expert, leading and coordinating certification processes in partnership with external auditing agencies, organisational leaders, and provider directorate teams across Te Toka Tumai. This role is central to maintaining compliance with the Standard, managing corrective actions, monitoring risk, and providing clear, timely reporting to key stakeholders.

You take pride in improving systems, supporting others, and ensuring excellence in patient care. You need to be excellent under pressure and be able to lead, inspire and influence.
We are flexible about the structure of the role and are keen to discuss this with suitable individuals. The role is 0.5 FTE (around 20 hours per week). Were looking for someone who can work flexibly and, when required, commit extra hours to support our team during accreditation preparation and onsite assessments.
